Job summary

Cathay Bank is seeking a part of our teller team in Chicago to handle transactions, assist customers, and open new accounts. You will balance cash drawers, process wires, and support cross-selling of bank products with a focus on accuracy and service quality.

Qualifications

• Experience handling cash and customer service in retail is preferred.
• Banking experience is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Handle teller transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
• Reconcile and balance teller cash drawer.
• Process outgoing wires and safe deposit duties as required.
• Open accounts and cross-sell bank products/services.
• Assist customers with problem resolution and inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and bank security procedures.
