Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; minimum 1 year in customer service, retail sales and service with cash handling.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, economics or related field preferred.
• Valley Retail training program experience preferred.
• Knowledge of FIS/IBS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Grow existing customer relationships and acquire new ones through sales, lead management, and cross selling.
• Deliver friendly, professional service aligned with the bank's mission.
• Educate customers on bank products and cross-sell to meet financial needs.
• Open new accounts (checking, savings, CDs, IRAs) and discuss/sell loan products.
• Promote online and mobile banking capabilities.
• Manage cash drawer, teller equipment, vault duties, and coin/currency orders.
• Participate in CRA initiatives and community events.
• Ensure compliance and report unusual activity.
