Job summary

First Bank is seeking a Banking Specialist III with a sales focus in San Francisco. You will expand client relations, offer cross-sell opportunities across bank products, and promote digital channels. You’ll support branch goals, assist with loan processes, and engage in community service activities to strengthen client relationships.

The role requires cash handling experience, a high school diploma, and strong sales, analytical, and customer service skills. Saturday shifts may be included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cash-handling experience preferred.
• Minimum of 24 months of sales and/or banking experience preferred.
• Life License (LB) preferred.
• NMLS registry required.
• Proven sales skills.
• Good analytical skills.
• Developed customer service skills, including written and verbal communication.
• Ability to use a PC and alpha/numeric keyboard.
• Flexible work week schedule, which may include Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Expand existing client relationships and build new ones by understanding needs and offering solutions across bank products.
• Promote alternative delivery channels like Online Banking, Online Bill Pay, and Mobile Banking.
• Aim to achieve branch and personal sales and referral goals.
• Retain clients and generate new relationships via calls on maturing accounts and referrals.
• Attend business calls with management and partners to initiate sales.
• Improve branch profitability and client satisfaction by cross-selling relevant products.
• Cultivate relationships with store associates in in-store branches.
• Increase sales and cross-sell through events, outbound calls, and promotions.
• Support community reinvestment goals through service activities.
• Drive growth by defining sales strategies with management.
• Open new accounts and maintain existing ones, providing disclosures as required; assist with loan applications and closings when needed.
