First Bank is seeking a Banking Specialist II to deliver outstanding client service, open new accounts, and support daily banking operations in a customer-centric environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months previous client service experience preferred.
• Previous cash-handling experience required.
• Previous banking experience strongly preferred.
• NLMS registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent client service by opening new accounts and maintaining them for current and new clients.
• Explain rates, terms and fees on products and services and provide required disclosures.
• Promote online banking, online bill pay, ATM network and debit card services.
• Assist in processing loan applications and closings.
• Increase sales and cross-sell opportunities through events and referrals.
• Balance cash drawers and ensure accurate, expeditious transactions.
• Support branch compliance with audits, security, and regulatory tasks.
• Coach Banking Specialist I on products, policies and procedures.
• Proactively refer clients to appropriate bank areas to reach sales goals.
