Qualifications

• Two year degree or equivalent job experience.
• Minimum 1 year sales experience in financial/retail environment.
• Must be or become Notary Public and NMLS certified.
• Successfully pass the Level I Business Certification.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel with ability to operate office equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong sales orientation with ability to balance priorities and work in a team.
• Ability to work intuitively and provide creative solutions.
• Ability to work within normal office requirements and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Support customer relationship development and transaction processing to meet sales/service goals.
• Open and process accounts, deposits, loans, check cashing, and related transactions.
• Cross-sell bank products/services to existing/new customers.
• Make qualified referrals to investments, mortgage, cash management, etc.
• Complete Home Equity application process with customers and follow up.
• Achieve individual and team sales/service goals; participate in promotions.
• Use needs-based consultative approaches to recommend products.
• Answer routine and complex questions concerning accounts, products, policies; troubleshoot and resolve.
• Maintain product knowledge via trainings and required courses.
• Demonstrate self-service channels (ATM, Online Banking, Mobile Banking).
• Utilize Salesforce for interactions and follow-up.
• Create a respectful work environment in collaboration with Branch Manager.
• Represent Rockland Trust in communities served.
