Rockland Trust is hiring a Banker to deliver excellent customer service and expert financial guidance in a Retail Branch setting. You will use broad financial knowledge to identify opportunities, deepen relationships, and meet sales goals while maintaining a positive, community-focused approach.

You will handle day-to-day transactions, advise on products, and work with partners to close Home Equity applications. A strong service mindset and collaborative spirit are essential.

Qualifications

• Two year degree or equivalent job experience.
• Minimum 1 year sales experience in a financial or retail environment.
• Must be or become a Notary Public and NMLS certified.
• Successfully pass the Level I Business Certification.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel with ability to operate office equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong sales orientation with ability to balance multiple priorities in a team.
• High degree of professionalism and tact in interactions.
• Ability to lift and stand as required and flexible work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Support customer relationship development and transaction processing to meet sales and service goals.
• Execute day-to-day transactional needs including accounts, deposits, withdrawals, and balancing cash.
• Cross-sell bank products and services using current tools and tracking systems.
• Make qualified referrals to investments, mortgage, and cash management partners.
• Complete Home Equity application process with customers and follow up to close.
• Achieve individual and team sales goals and participate in promotions.
• Use a consultative needs-based approach to recommend products that fit customer relationships.
• Answer routine and complex questions about accounts, products, and policies; ensure resolution.
• Maintain product knowledge through trainings and respond to updates in policies.
• Utilize self-service channels (ATM, Online, Mobile) and Salesforce for interactions.
• Represent Rockland Trust and foster a respectful, community-focused work environment.
