Job summary

Columbia Bank is seeking a Personal Banker to deliver exceptional client experience and grow relationships at our Santa Barbara location. You will identify client needs, present suitable banking products, open accounts, and refer clients to internal partners for broader solutions.

The role emphasizes lending opportunities, accurate cash handling, and maintaining proactive client service aligned with our Standards. Onsite work supports local communities and career growth within the bank.

Qualifications

• 1 year Teller or other banking experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of consumer banking and business products and services offered.
• Ability and desire to actively develop consumer lending skills.
• Ability to accurately handle cash, balance accounts and drawers, and perform accurate calculations.
• NMLS licensing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional client experience by adhering to Breakthrough Client Experience Standards.
• Acquire new and expand existing client relationships by identifying needs and offering appropriate products and services.
• Open Consumer and Business accounts for new and existing clients; refer to internal partners as needed.
• Uncover consumer lending opportunities and provide timely, proactive client service.
• Support client service specialists and assist with teller functions when needed.
