Job summary

Qualifications

  • NMLS registration must be completed/accepted within 30 days of employment or transfer date.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in consumer sales, marketing and/or customer service; banking experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with Bank software and systems (PC Teller, CIS, check imprinter).
  • Strong verbal communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills; capable of meeting deadlines; able to lift 20–25 lbs and push a 100 lb cart; able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the branch client experience by proactively engaging clients and demonstrating 21st century banking tech; cross-sell and meet client needs.
  • Sell financial products and services; process applications; handle a wide range of transactions; balance cash; train new staff on procedures.
  • Identify and secure new high-value clients; manage referrals and sales tracking; promote Bank products at branch and in-store locations.
  • Maintain knowledge of bank policies, procedures, and applicable laws; stay current on products, programs and promotions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
