Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is seeking a retail banking professional in the Frisco, TX area to support client sales and service goals. The role emphasizes developing relationships, handling consultative conversations, and processing consumer lending applications.

This position requires strong communication, multi-tasking, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Weekend/hours and travel may be required as part of temporary staffing and coverage needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Must be SAFE (Mortgage Licensing Act) compliant within 30 days of employment, including NMLS background check.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs and locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel.

Responsibilities

• Exercises advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests, problem resolution and advanced sales functions regarding deposit, credit, convenience and other product and service lines.
• Contributes to meeting or exceeding client service as well as individual and branch sales targets by offering products and services with a focus on developing, expanding and retaining relationships.
• Supports team sales process by conducting consultative conversations and referring more complex client needs to internal specialists.
• Participates fully in all components of the established Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.
• Advices on consumer lending options and takes loan applications.
• Adheres to internal controls and risk management policies and stays informed of policy updates.
