Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years in banking/supervisory role.
• 2 years in platform banking, frontline operations, lending, credit, financial services, business development or supervisory.
• Strong understanding of Retail Banking products and services.
• Ability to meet sales goals in a retail environment.
• Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn internal systems.

Responsibilities

• Crosstrain, lead and develop team to maximize efficiency and growth.
• Promote branch business development, referrals, wallet share, deposits and loans.
• Conduct sales calls and customer meetings.
• Take and process loan applications, interview applicants, and clear exceptions and past dues.
• Manage loan portfolio and assist customers; ensure credit decisions comply with policies.
• Ensure marketing and branch staff comply with regulations.
• Manage branch goals, mitigate risks and losses.
• Lead productive branch meetings with focus on growth and profitability.
• Interview and hire candidates.
• Mentor, train, coach and manage branch personnel.
• Oversee scheduling, performance appraisals, cash handling, audits, and time reporting.
• Possibility participate in community roles.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
