Job summary

HomeAid North Texas is seeking a Director of Development to act as the Relationship Architect and Growth Engine, focusing on relational and financial capital. You will cultivate donors, secure grants, and expand corporate partnerships while driving scalable fundraising campaigns and leveraging in-kind assets for impact.

Reporting to the Executive Director, you will work with the Development Committee to build a funded, sustainable model, mentor staff, and engage national and local partners to

Qualifications

• Experience securing grants and corporate partnerships.
• Ability to design multi-channel fundraising strategies.
• Proven track record in donor cultivation and major gifts.
• Experience with in-kind donations and cost-saving initiatives.
• Strong collaboration with leadership and boards.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy multi-channel development strategies.
• Cultivate donors, grants, and corporate partnerships.
• Scale fundraising campaigns like Builders for Babies.
• Translate complex model to supporters.
• Collaborate with leadership and staff to maintain margins.
• Coach internal staff on relationship pipelines and Salesforce.
• Support Board of Directors with tools and talking points.
• Collaborate with affiliates and partners.
