Job summary

Simmons Bank is seeking a Market President to lead strategic efforts in acquiring, growing, and retaining a large base of commercial clients in local markets. You will manage relationships, drive cross-selling across product lines, and oversee portfolio performance including asset quality.

The role requires a solid background in commercial lending, strong leadership, and the ability to meet growth targets while remaining compliant with bank policies.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field is preferred.
• Experience in the local market is preferred for understanding lending.
• 2–4 years lending experience with strong sales skills is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Strategically focus on small and mid-size commercial client activity through relational selling.
• Establish and negotiate terms under which commercial credit will be extended.
• Drive deposit and loan growth and refer SBA opportunities.
• Review financial information to assess creditworthiness and present recommendations.
• Monitor loan repayments and manage collections when needed.
• Ensure compliance with loan policies and documentation standards.
• Cross-sell bank products to deepen client relationships.
• Engage with the community to advance the bank's reputation.
