Zusammenfassung

Fidelity & Guaranty Life Insurance Company (F&G) is seeking a Manager, Reinsurance Special Projects to lead research and successful implementation of select reinsurance modernization and other operational activities. You will ensure accurate treaty set-up and manage changes within TAI and the reinsurance data repository, reporting to the AVP in Life Reinsurance Accounting & Administration.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in Life reinsurance operations and/or reinsurance accounting.
• 2+ years of leadership or people management experience.
• Financial systems knowledge and familiarity with databases and complex Excel spreadsheets.

Aufgaben

• Oversee reinsurance special projects, new treaty set-up and process improvement / automation reinsurance initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal and external business partners on development and testing of complex reinsurance changes.
• Manage research, development and implementation of reinsurance special projects.
• Serve as reinsurance special projects liaison for key internal and external business partners.
• Develop, implement and monitor KPIs to assess the department’s operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Lead ongoing data quality assessments (data stewardship).
• Participate in corporate modernization and financial operation transformation projects as needed.
• Participate in the design of internal controls related to reinsurance special projects activities.
