Job summary

Guy Carpenter in New York City seeks an North America Distribution Manager to lead reinsurer relationships and deliver market insights for brokers and branch offices. Hybrid role requiring three in-office days per week.

You will coordinate with the distribution and data teams, build Power BI dashboards with the US-based data engineer, and produce regular reports for stakeholders across the region. Strong communication and five-plus years in (re)insurance are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with stakeholder engagement experience.
• 5-7 years in insurance / reinsurance.
• Proven data management, analysis and reporting experience using Excel and BI tools.
• Solid understanding of re/insurance market terms and reinsurer roles in value chain.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead reinsurer relationship management and drive market insights.
• Coordinate with regional brokers, reinsurers and internal teams.
• Organize meetings and participate in North America conferences or events.
• Serve as primary contact for US/Canada stakeholders and inquiries.
• Develop dashboards and visuals with Power BI; support data-driven decisions.
• Produce regular and ad hoc internal reports; maintain market presence.
