Job summary

Saint Mary Home, part of Trinity Health Senior Communities, seeks an experienced Unit Manager to lead a fast-paced 30-bed rehabilitation unit serving a high-acuity, medically complex patient population.

You will oversee daily operations, manage staffing and workflow, and collaborate across disciplines to ensure patient-centered care and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Registered Nurse license in CT.
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience required.
  • Rehab, skilled nursing, or acute care experience preferred.
  • Ability to supervise, coach, mentor and develop nursing staff.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Current CPR certification.

Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Saint Mary Home is a member of Trinity Health Senior Communities (THSC), one of the nation’s largest Catholic health care systems.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Unit Manager to lead our fast-paced, 30-bed rehabilitation unit serving a high-acuity, medically complex patient population.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations and staff on the unit
  • Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care
  • Manage staffing, workflow, and team performance
  • Collaborate across disciplines and maintain compliance
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Current Registered Nurse in the state of CT
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience required
  • Rehab, skilled nursing, or acute care experience preferred
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
  • Ability to supervise, coach, mentor and develop nursing staff
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Current CPR certification
