Responsibilities

• Supports daily therapy department processes and operations.
• Assists patients with daily personal activities as delegated.
• Sets up equipment and maintains a safe working environment.
• Transports and positions patients per schedule and care plan.
• Assists therapists with daily care and patient therapy tasks.
• Communicates patient observations and outcomes to therapists.
• Reports patient performance and any changes in condition.
• Maintains awareness of patient safety and satisfaction data.
• Requests therapist assistance when patient needs exceed scope.
• Suggests process improvements for department efficiency.
