Encompass Health is hiring a Rehabilitation Therapy Technician I to support rehabilitation therapists and deliver patient-centered care. You will assist with equipment setup, daily activities, and maintain a safe environment in collaboration with nurses and therapists.

The role emphasizes effective communication, adherence to regulations, and ongoing training to enhance patient care outcomes within our inpatient rehabilitation setting.

Qualifications

• BLS CPR certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Supports daily therapy department processes and operations.
• Assists patients with daily personal activities.
• Assists therapists with daily care and patient therapy as delegated.
• Communicates patient outcomes and observations to rehab therapists.
• Monitors patient safety and supports therapists as needed.
