Job summary

Texas Rehabilitation Hospital of Keller, operated with Lifepoint Health, seeks a Rehabilitation Therapy Manager to lead therapy services and drive quality patient care. The role collaborates with the Director of Therapy to ensure seamless inpatient and outpatient therapy operations, evaluates patients, applies modalities and treatments, and upholds hospital policies.

Candidates must hold Texas state licensure as an OT/PT or Speech Therapist and a healthcare management degree.

• Bachelor's or Master's in Healthcare Management or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Therapy Services with ongoing assessment and improvement of Therapy Services.
• Collaborate to ensure optimal functioning of inpatient and outpatient therapy departments.
• Assume responsibility for a designated group of patients and provide therapy evaluations, modalities and treatments.
• Maintain the highest degree of quality patient care per hospital and departmental policies.

How You'll Contribute

A Rehabilitation Therapy Manager who excels in this role:

Assists the Director of Therapy Services with the ongoing assessment and improvement of Therapy Services. Such responsibilities encompass not only the internal functioning of the department, but also the integration of the department into the overall functioning of the organization and its clinical programs. The Therapy Manager works in collaboration with the Director of Therapy to ensure optimal functioning of both inpatient and outpatient (if applicable) therapy departments. The Therapy Manager will also assume responsibility and accountability for a designated group of patients and provides therapy evaluations, modalities and treatments, etc. in accordance with established hospital and departmental policies and procedures, maintaining the highest degree of quality patient care.

What We're Looking For

Applicants should hold a current state licensure/certification as an Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist or Speech Therapist in the state of Texas AND Bachelors or Masters in a Healthcare Management or related field.

Additional Requirements Include

• Current Basic Life Support / CPR card.
• At least two years of experience as a treating therapist.
• Inpatient rehab experience preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.
