Job summary

Texas Rehabilitation Hospital of Keller is seeking a Rehabilitation Therapy Manager. This full-time, days shift role partners with the Director of Therapy Services to elevate patient care and integrate therapy services across inpatient and outpatient programs.

You will supervise a therapy team, perform evaluations and deliver treatments per hospital policies, aiming for exceptional patient outcomes and program integration within the organization.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure/certification as an Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist or Speech Therapist in Texas.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Healthcare Management or related field.
• Basic Life Support / CPR certification.
• At least two years of experience as a treating therapist.
• Inpatient rehab experience preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Therapy Services with ongoing assessment and improvement of Therapy Services.
• Collaborate with the Director of Therapy to ensure optimal functioning of inpatient and outpatient therapy departments.
• Take responsibility for a designated group of patients and provide therapy evaluations, modalities and treatments in accordance with hospital policies.

How you'll contribute

A Rehabilitation Therapy Manager who excels in this role:

Assists the Director of Therapy Services with the ongoing assessment and improvement of Therapy Services. Such responsibilities encompass not only the internal functioning of the department, but also the integration of the department into the overall functioning of the organization and its clinical programs. The Therapy Manager works in collaboration with the Director of Therapy to ensure optimal functioning of both inpatient and outpatient (if applicable) therapy departments. The Therapy Manager will also assume responsibility and accountability for a designated group of patients and provides therapy evaluations, modalities and treatments, etc. in accordance with established hospital and departmental policies and procedures, maintaining the highest degree of quality patient care.

What we're looking for

Applicants should hold a current state licensure/certification as an Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist or Speech Therapist in the state of Texas AND Bachelors or Masters in a Healthcare Management or related field.

Additional requirements include:

• Current Basic Life Support / CPR card.
• At least two years of experience as a treating therapist.
