Job summary

Texas Rehabilitation Hospital of Fort Worth, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Nurse Aide to support nursing staff and provide essential basic patient care in a fast-paced setting.

The role involves assisting with daily living activities, vital signs, and maintaining a safe environment. The schedule is 3x12 days (7a-7p) with rotating weekends; CPR/BCLS certification is required, and cost-effective benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of experience in an acute or long-term care facility preferred.
• CPR/BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient care tasks including hygiene, grooming, and mobility support.
• Provide general nursing care such as patient positioning, lifting, turning, and use of assistive equipment.
• Assist with toileting using bedpans, urinals, commodes, or ambulation.
• Take and document vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, and blood pressure, as well as intake and output measurements.
• Assist in patient admission, transfer, and discharge, including handling personal belongings.
• Maintain a clean and comfortable patient environment.
• Respond promptly to patient call lights, telephone, and paging systems.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

How You'll Contribute

A Nurse Aide who excels in this role provides essential support to nursing staff by performing basic patient care duties, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients.
