Job summary

Texas Rehabilitation Hospital of Keller is seeking a Rehabilitation Therapy Manager to lead therapy services in a 36-bed inpatient rehab setting. You will support the Director of Therapy Services in assessing and improving care delivery for both inpatient and outpatient programs.

The role requires TX licensure in Occupational, Physical, or Speech Therapy and a healthcare management degree. Two+ years as a treating therapist and leadership experience are valuable assets for success.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure/certification as an Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist or Speech Therapist in Texas.
• Two+ years of experience as a treating therapist.
• Inpatient rehab experience preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Director of Therapy Services with ongoing assessment and improvement of Therapy Services.
• Collaborates to ensure optimal functioning of inpatient and outpatient therapy departments.
• Provides therapy evaluations, modalities and treatments per hospital policies and procedures.

How you'll contribute

ARehabilitation Therapy Managerwho excels in this role:

Assists the Director of Therapy Services with the ongoing assessment and improvement of Therapy Services. Such responsibilities encompass not only the internal functioning of the department, but also the integration of the department into the overall functioning of the organization and its clinical programs. The Therapy Manager works in collaboration with the Director of Therapy to ensure optimal functioning of both inpatient and outpatient (if applicable) therapy departments. The Therapy Manager will also assume responsibility and accountability for a designated group of patients and provides therapy evaluations, modalities and treatments, etc. in accordance with established hospital and departmental policies and procedures, maintaining the highest degree of quality patient care.

What we're looking for

Applicants should hold a current state licensure/certification as an Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist or Speech Therapist in the state of TexasAND Bachelors or Masters in a Healthcare Management or related field.

Additional requirements include:

• Current Basic Life Support / CPR card.
• At least two years of experience as a treating therapist.
• Inpatient rehab experience preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.
