Inova Mt. Vernon Inpatient Rehab Team - Rehabilitation Technician

Rehabilitation Technician Job Responsibilities:

1. Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly treatment area, including equipment upkeep and inventory management. Ensure supplies are stocked at appropriate levels and in a timely manner under supervisor guidance.
2. Assist with patient treatment under the guidance of a Therapist.
3. Prepare and organize supplies for patient treatments.
4. Follow established patient care guidelines set by the treating Therapist.
5. Use safety precautions during service provision.
6. Notify Therapists of any changes in patients' conditions or responses to treatments.
7. Communicate relevant information to patients and families about patients' status, while deferring to Therapists when appropriate.
8. Provide education to patients using appropriate methods and materials suitable for their understanding and motivation.

Additional Requirements:

• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association.
• Licensure: Not required.
• Experience: Not required.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
