The Environmental Services Technician at a leading rehabilitation hospital is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety, ensuring a welcoming environment for patients and staff. The Environmental Services Technician - PRN will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment at RHI, with a focus on customer service for patients, staff, and visitors.
This team member will demonstrate service excellence, lead by example, and mentor others in their duties. They will also respond to call lights on nursing units, assist patients when possible, or inform appropriate staff of patient needs. Understanding HIPAA requirements and access to Protected Health Information is essential.
Every staff member is responsible for prioritizing patient safety, following evidence-based practices, and encouraging patient involvement in their care as part of safety strategies.
