The PRN Patient Care Technician performs patient care and related tasks under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse or a Licensed Practical Nurse.

The shift for this role is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with hours that will flex 6:00am-9:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Provides a safe, quiet, comfortable environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Prepares dialysis machines and supplies for patient treatments.
• Delivers direct quality care to patients before, during, and after dialysis treatments under supervision.
• Acts as an effective team member and assists as needed in the facility.

Physical Demands

The physical demands include standing most of the shift, frequent lifting, stretching, and physical exertion involved in positioning patients and moving equipment.

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of dialysis experience as a PCT
