Job summary

Duly Health and Care is seeking a Rehabilitation Technician to support PT/OT teams, assist with exercise plans, and ensure safe, effective patient care across Aurora and Naperville clinics.

You will handle clinic flow, front-end tasks, and scheduling while maintaining a clean, well-stocked environment and coordinating with providers to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

  • CPR certification required.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviations.
  • Understand principles and cautions of therapy modalities.
  • Identify proper patient setup on equipment and adjustable techniques.

Together, we create an environment where you can grow, contribute, and help improve the experience and outcomes for every patient we serve.Overview: Rehabilitation TechnicianPhysical/Occupational TherapyFull-Time; 30-40 hours/weekLocation: Aurora Westbrook and Naperville - Washington clinicsPosition Highlights:Hours:Monday: 7:30am-1:00pm - NapervilleTuesday: 7:30am-4:00pm - NapervilleWednesday: 7:30am-1:00pm - NapervilleThursday: 7:30am-4:00pm - NapervilleFriday: 7:00am-3:30pm - AuroraOccasional Saturday mornings: 7am/8am-11am/12pmTravel: Expected to travel other sites for coverage needsBenefits:Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits that include healthcare navigation assistance.Access to a mental health benefit at no cost.Employer provided life and disability insurance.Immediate 401(k) match.40 days paid volunteer time off.A culture committed to community engagement and social impact.12 weeks parental leave at 100% pay and a financial benefit for adoption and surrogacy for non-physician team members.Responsibilities:Under the direct supervision of the Clinic Director, the Rehabilitation Technician will be responsible for:Patient care, support, and guidanceExecute plans of care under guidance of PT/OT providers.Proper set up and adjustment of exercise equipment.Assist with set up and delivery of modalities (e.g., electrical stimulation, ultrasound, hot/cold packs, etc.)Utilize appropriate educational techniques including demonstration and cueing to ensure patient understanding of exercises.Monitor patient safety and response to exercise intensity.Discuss patient performance with PT/OT provider.Clinic flowMonitor patient arrivals to department.Start patients on time for scheduled appointments/keep patients apprised of any clinician delays.Maintain cleanliness of clinic, including waiting areas, exam rooms, and all equipment.Order all supplies to keep clinic stocked, under direction from Manager.Front end tasksPerform necessary front-end tasks including but not limited to check-in, co-pay/financial responsibility collection, answering phones, and scheduling future appointments.Communicate via chat with PT/OT and Chiropractic referral team regarding patient insurance benefits.Schedule management for clinicians (i.e., patient confirmation calls, rescheduling patients as needed).Qualifications:CPR certification required (certification offered through Duly Health and Care)High School DiplomaKnowledge of common medical terminology and abbreviations.Understand principles, as well as contraindications/precautions in the use of therapy modalities.Can identify proper patient set-up on each piece of equipment with the ability to adjust.Identify planes of movement and demonstrate proper exercise positioning.Team-oriented.Attention to detail and follow-through.Problem solving, lateral thinking and reasoning skills.Communication skills.The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $15.10-18.00 with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives.
