Job summary

Sovah Health - Danville, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Rehabilitation Technician to join the care team in Danville. You will support therapists, help prepare patients for treatments, and maintain therapy spaces and equipment.

The role requires a high school diploma with CPR/BCLS certification, and at least six months' experience in an acute or long-term facility, plus strong communication and interpersonal skills. This on-site position includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Transport, lift, transfer, move and reposition patients in patient rooms, Therapy Gym and other hospital areas.
• Prepare patients for prescribed treatment and assist professional staff with patient treatment.
• Prepare, clean and maintain treatment areas and equipment.
• Procure and maintain an accurate inventory of therapy supplies.
• Perform routine clerical tasks for Therapy Department.

How You'll Contribute

A Rehabilitation Technician who excels in this role:

• Ability to Transport, lift, transfer, move and reposition patients in the patient room, Therapy Gym and other common areas of the hospital.
• Prepares patients for prescribed treatment and assists professional staff with patient treatment.
• Prepares, cleans and maintains treatment areas and equipment.
• Procures and keeps an accurate inventory of all therapy supplies.
• Performs routine clerical tasks for Therapy Department.
