Valley Health System in Paramus, NJ, is seeking an entry-level patient assistant to support therapists with pediatric treatments and to handle front and back desk tasks. The role involves registration, scheduling, and coordinating with families and the health team.
No prior experience is required; a high school diploma is needed, and the candidate should be willing to learn and work well in a fast-paced pediatric environment.
To assist therapists with treatments for pediatric patients in a variety of age groups under the supervision of the therapist. To provide services such as registration, scheduling, front and back desk support.
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Individual willing to learn and be able to work with pediatric patients. Keyboard Skills. Ability to perform work accurately and pay attention to details, changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency. Ability to function competently in a changing work environment related to changing patient needs. Ability to effectively communicate and interact with the health-system, pediatric patients, family members, and multidisciplinary team members. Ability to utilize effective time management to set priorities and perform job-related responsibilities. Ability to effective problem-solve.

Pay Range: $18.82 - $23.53 (per hour)
