Job summary

16 Valley Physician Services PC in Paramus seeks a skilled therapist to engage child/adolescent patients and their families. You will provide therapy focused on emotions and behaviors, coordinate care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Job description

Position Summary

To engage child/adolescent patients and their families with difficulties in emotions and behaviors by identifying problems, promoting strengths, and addressing weakness. To engage in counseling, education and therapy with children/adolescents and their families. To coordinate care and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary team and community resources.

Education

Master's degree in social work or equivalent from an accredited program.

Experience

Previous experience providing family and individual therapy preferred.

Special Skills

• New Jersey Social Work License required.
• MSW and LSW, LCSW or equivalent required.

• Effective oral and written communication skills to express ideas clearly.

• Ability to efficiently document using an Electronic Medical/Health Record in a timely manner.

Salary

Pay Range: $39.33 - $49.16 per hour.
