Job summary

Kindred Hospital South FL- Hollywood, part of Lifepoint Rehabilitation and Lifepoint Health, seeks a Program Director/Director of Rehabilitation to lead the acute rehabilitation program and oversee staffing. You will work with Medical Director, Nurse Manager and therapists to deliver high-quality care and ensure efficient operations.

The role emphasizes clinical leadership, policy adherence, staff development, and ongoing education, with a focus on improving patient outcomes and coordinating

Qualifications

Experience managing health or human services programs.
Experience with geriatric disabled population preferred.
Minimum bachelor degree.
Clinical background with a PT or OT license.

Responsibilities

Oversee total operations of the acute rehabilitation program.
Staffing, team supervision and development across defined roles.
Ensure adherence to policies of professional bodies, hospital and Lifepoint.
Improve efficiency and productivity of clinical and administrative functions.
Maintain professional image and communication with patients and families.
Participate in continuing education and professional development.
