Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AOTA approved Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
• Licensure/certification as OTA as required.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care under supervision of a registered occupational therapist.
• Documents according to procedures and billing data.
• Assists with scheduling and administrative duties.
• Participates in interdisciplinary team activities and care conferences.
• Educates patients and families on treatment plans and follow-through.
• Maintains safety practices and professional standards.
• Contributes to professional development of self and others.
• Communicates patient progress and plans with the supervisor and health team.
