Job summary

Park Nicollet is seeking a Rehab Clinic Float Assistant to support Rehabilitation Services. The role involves clerical and clinical tasks to help the care team deliver outstanding patient care across multiple sites.

The position requires strong communication, confidentiality, and comfort with computers, with travel to Burnsville, Prior Lake, St. Louis Park, and other central sites as part of the float team.

Qualifications

• Six months experience in a customer service or medical setting.
• Ability to work independently under supervision of multiple rehabilitation professionals.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Comfortable with computers and learning new software.
• Must maintain patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist Rehabilitation Services Care Teams with clerical and clinical tasks.
• Support patients and families with care coordination.
• Travel between Burnsville, Prior Lake, St. Louis Park P3800, Methodist, Game Face and Minneapolis.
• Handle phone inquiries and scheduling.

Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Rehab Clinic Float Assistant to join our Rehabilitation team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.

Position Summary:

Performs a variety of clerical and clinical tasks assisting the Rehabilitation Services Care Teams in providing outstanding patient care and services.

Must travel to Burnsville, Prior Lake, St. Louis Park P3800, Methodist, Game Face and Minneapolis

this float is the "south" float which is where we have the Burnsville and Prior Lake but then all of our floats have to go to our central sites which is the 3800, game face, Methodist and Minneapolis

Work Schedule:

. 70 FTE, Part Time. 7 shifts in a pay period, each 8 hours ranging in hours from 6:45am to 6:45pm.

Required Qualifications:

• Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
  • Six months experience in a customer service job, or medical related experience in a hospital, rehab, or clinical setting.
• Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
  • NA
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Must be able to work independently under the supervision of multiple rehabilitation professionals on recurring assignments.
  • Should have critical thinking skills and be able to problem-solve.
  • Strong verbal communication, customer relations and listening skills are essential.
  • Good telephone etiquette, money handling, and keyboarding skills are needed.
  • Must be able to promote and maintain good customer relations and patient confidentiality.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate in person and over the phone with a wide variety of patients (i.e., Those with speech and hearing impairments, those requiring interpreters)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that includes switching between tasks.
  • Comfortable working with computers and learning new equipment and software as needed within the scope of the role.
