Job summary

HealthPartners Methodist Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Float Pool. The role involves direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse and flexibility to float to multiple units.

This full-time regular position is .9 FTE with rotating day and evening shifts and every other weekend. Candidates must be current on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry or be an LPN student/jr nursing student who has completed first-quarter clinicals.

Qualifications

• Must be current on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry or be an LPN student/Jr. level nursing student with first-quarter clinicals completed.
• CPR skills validated is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Float to units including neurology, ortho, oncology, med-surg/surgical, ICU/critical care, cardiac telemetry and observation.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with varied responsibilities.

No prior experience needed. Candidate should enjoy working in a fast-paced work environment that has a lot of variety. Units that candidate will float to include: neurology, ortho, oncology, med-surg/ surgical, ICU/critical care, cardiac telemetry, and observation.

Required Qualifications: All candidates must be current on the State of Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry OR be an LPN student or a Jr. level nursing student, which means completion of first quarter clinicals with an accredited RN or LPN program.

Preferred Qualifications: Currently validated CPR skills preferred
