Job summary

CJW Medical Center in Richmond, VA is seeking a Rehab Therapy Aide to assist with selected treatment procedures under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist. You will manage patient scheduling, prepare daily therapy charges, and maintain inventory for the therapy department.

Responsibilities include transporting patients, assisting with draping and dressing, and promptly communicating changes in patient status to therapy staff. A 8 a.m.–4 p.m.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Availability to work 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. and rotating weekends.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Certified Rehab Tech course (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff during patient meals times.
• Maintain linen inventory in therapy gyms and pool area, clean hydrotherapy equipment and supplies.
• Transport patients to and from the nursing unit to therapy sessions.
• Assist in draping, dressing, and undressing patients for treatment.
• Communicate changes in patient status to licensed therapy personnel.
