Job summary

Athletico in Richmond, VA is seeking a part-time Rehabilitation Aide to support clinicians and the Patient Experience Coordinator. You will greet patients, prepare for physical therapy, and assist with treatments, while following state practice guidelines.

Responsibilities include assisting with non-clinical tasks, maintaining clean treatment areas, and supporting inventory, scheduling, and documentation. Previous rehab tech experience is preferred; strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication
• Ability to clearly document all projects and manage production
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for physical therapy treatments and assists therapists during administration of treatments
• Motivates and assists patients with exercises under supervision
• Provides routine treatments such as hot/cold packs and modalities
• Cleans work area and equipment after treatment
• Washes linens, folds and maintains linen cabinets
• Restocks restrooms and common areas as needed
• Assists with answering phones, scheduling appointments and filing paperwork
• Assists with keeping track of non-medical and medical supplies and may order inventory
