Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Washington is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat residents in a long-term care setting under medical orders and payer guidelines.

You will develop treatment plans, educate staff and families, and ensure timely documentation while maintaining licensure. Excellent communication and supervisory skills are required to support rehab aides and collaborate with the care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved curriculum in Physical Therapy.
• Current, active license as Physical Therapist.
• CPR Certification as required for license renewal.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• English language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises the work of assistants and rehab aides as applicable.
• Develops treatment plans and provides treatment per MD orders and payer guidelines.
• Educates staff and third-party payers on benefits and outcomes of intervention.
• Completes documentation including evaluations and progress notes.
• Maintains licensure and credentialing.
• Screens individuals who may benefit from therapy.
• Communicates patient status to patients, families, and caregivers.
