Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to support licensed therapists in delivering quality patient care in a long-term care environment. You will implement treatment plans, document patient progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates hold an approved PTA degree, current licensure, CPR certification, and knowledge of Medicare/billable services. The role requires strong communication and empathy to support residents and families in a 24/7 skilled care

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant curriculum.
• License: Current, active license as Physical Therapist, and is able to practice unencumbered.
• CPR Certification required for license renewal.
• Working knowledge of Medicare and other payor sources.

Responsibilities

• Implements and executes on established patient treatment plan under supervision of a therapist.
• Communicates with patients, families, referring physicians and other team members.
• Provides timely written documentation per facility requirements.
• Maintains accurate patient charges and billing information.
• Attends required meetings and communicates treatment responses to Therapists.
• Maintains licensure and awareness of patient and community needs.
