Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program.
• Maintain an active PTA license in the State.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care and related activities as directed by the Director of Rehab or Physical Therapist.
• Implement treatment plans and maintain productivity standards.
• Record clinical documentation per guidelines and billable charges per guidelines.
• Instruct families and nursing staff on restorative/home programs.
• Communicate patient progress and participate in team meetings.
• Assist with department maintenance and uphold safety regulations.
