Job summary

Duly Health and Care is seeking a Physical/Occupational Therapy assistant for PRN Saturday coverage at Naperville and Aurora clinics. You will support PT/OT providers, set up equipment, and help patients perform exercises with proper guidance.

The role requires CPR certification, a high school diploma, and strong communication skills to ensure safe, effective care and smooth clinic operations across locations.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required; certification offered through Duly Health and Care.
• Knowledge of common medical terminology and abbreviations.
• Understand principles and contraindications of therapy modalities.
• Identify proper patient setup and adjust equipment as needed.
• Demonstrate good communication and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Patient care, support, and guidance.
• Execute plans of care under guidance of PT/OT providers.
• Proper set up and adjustment of exercise equipment.
• Assist with modalities (electrical stimulation, ultrasound, hot/cold packs).
• Educate patients with demonstrations and cueing for exercises.
• Monitor safety and response to exercise intensity.
• Discuss patient progress with PT/OT provider.
• Manage clinic flow, arrivals, and delays; maintain cleanliness.
• Front-end tasks including check-in, co-pay collection, calls, and scheduling.
