Job summary

Duly Health and Care is seeking a Rehabilitation Technician to support patient care under PT/OT guidance. You will set up equipment, deliver modalities, and guide patients through exercises to help achieve therapy goals.

This full-time role covers multiple sites (Aurora Westbrook and Naperville clinics) and requires CPR and a High School Diploma, along with front-end duties, scheduling, and clinic flow. Competitive benefits and pay range of $15.10 to $18.00 per hour plus incentives are offered.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required (certification offered through Duly Health and Care).
• High School Diploma.
• Knowledge of common medical terminology and abbreviations.
• Understand principles, as well as contraindications/precautions in the use of therapy modalities.
• Can identify proper patient set-up on each piece of equipment with the ability to adjust.
• Identify planes of movement and demonstrate proper exercise positioning.
• Team-oriented.
• Attention to detail and follow-through.
• Problem solving, lateral thinking and reasoning skills.
• Communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute plans of care under guidance of PT/OT providers.
• Proper set up and adjustment of exercise equipment.
• Assist with set up and delivery of modalities (e.g., electrical stimulation, ultrasound, hot/cold packs).
• Utilize educational techniques including demonstration and cueing for exercises.
• Monitor patient safety and response to exercise intensity.
• Discuss patient performance with PT/OT provider.
• Monitor patient arrivals and keep appointments on schedule.
• Maintain cleanliness of clinic and equipment.
• Order supplies under direction from Manager.
• Front-end tasks including check-in, co-pay collection, answering phones, scheduling appointments.
• Communicate via chat with PT/OT and Chiropractic referral team regarding patient insurance benefits.
