Job summary

Duly Health and Care in Naperville, IL is seeking a part-time Rehabilitation Technician to support physical and occupational therapy services. Under the supervision of the Clinic Director, you will assist with patient care, set up equipment, and help deliver modalities while ensuring safety and accurate cueing.

You will manage front-end tasks, monitor clinic flow, schedule follow-ups, and keep the space clean and stocked.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required (certification offered through Duly Health and Care).
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of common medical terminology and abbreviations.
• Understand principles, as well as contraindications/precautions in the use of therapy modalities.
• Identify proper patient setup on each piece of equipment with the ability to adjust.
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care, support, and guidance.
• Execute plans of care under guidance of PT/OT providers.
• Set up and adjust exercise equipment; deliver modalities as directed.
• Demonstrate exercises using educational cues to ensure understanding.
• Monitor patient safety and response to exercise intensity.
• Discuss patient progress with PT/OT providers and manage clinic flow.
• Monitor patient arrivals, start appointments on time, and communicate delays to patients.
• Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and equipment; stock supplies as directed.
• Handle front-end tasks: check-in, copays, scheduling; coordinate with referral teams.
• Schedule management for clinicians and confirm/reschedule patients as needed.
