Job summary

Southeast Health in Arkansas is seeking a Rehab Services Tech I to join the rehabilitation team for day shift. The role provides supportive patient care under the supervision of qualified therapists and assumes department duties as needed.

You will assist with training new Rehab Services Techs and support the team in delivering quality care within established protocols.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years Rehab Services Dept experience or completion of a 4-year pre-PT degree.
• Prefer 2 years experience in an acute care hospital or rehab setting as a technician.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school degree or equivalent required. Minimum of 2 years experience in the Rehab Services Department or completion of four-year degree in a pre-Physical Therapy field required. Prefer 2 years experience in an acute care hospital or rehab setting as a technician.

LANGUAGE/ COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Ability to communicate effectively in an emergency situation.

SKILLS:

• 1. Able to pass proficiency checklist specific to the department to which assigned prior to promotion.
• 2. Able to complete and pass cross-training skills proficiency test.
• 3. Basic computer skills.
• 4. Basic knowledge of therapeutic modalities.
• 5. Proficient in skills check off.
