Job summary

Ascension Health is seeking a part-time professional to support pediatric outpatient rehabilitation at Seton Southwest Hospital in Austin, TX. You will assist in providing rehabilitative services and help prepare treatment areas, while maintaining equipment and inventory in a safe, sanitary environment.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, plus BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent or 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
• BLS Provider certification required within 1 month (30 days) of hire; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the provision of rehabilitative services.
• Assist with patient treatments as directed.
• Prepare treatment areas for therapy and maintain in safe and sanitary condition; maintain equipment used in therapy interventions.
• Maintain adequate inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Complete non-clinical and clerical tasks as assigned.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
