Job summary

Ascension in Austin, TX is seeking a dedicated care assistant to support perioperative services during day shifts. In this role you will assist with patient movement, daily living activities, and documentation to ensure safe, efficient care.

You will report changes to nursing staff, maintain clean rooms, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. A BLS certification and a high school diploma or equivalent are required.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date required (AHA or Red Cross accepted).
• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
• Licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
