Job summary

SUNSETRIDGE is seeking a Rehabilitation Support Associate to assist with non-clinical tasks that boost rehabilitation services. You will help set up therapy sessions, move and transport patients, and coordinate with therapists to meet treatment goals.

You will also monitor documentation, follow safety and infection-control protocols, and participate in team trainings. Confidentiality and professionalism are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and comprehend policy and procedure manuals.
• Strong communication with managers, coworkers, families, and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup for physical, occupational, and speech therapy treatments.
• Maintain safe treatment environment following infection control and safety protocols.
• Communicate with supervisor and healthcare personnel as directed by therapists.
• Coordinate scheduling needs with therapists for residents.
• Transport, transfer, and prepare patients and equipment as directed.
• Complete and submit logs and forms as directed by supervisor.
• Direct clinical questions to supervising Therapist and report unusual occurrences.
• Participate in denials management activities to ensure timely claims processing.
• Monitor and order office and clinical supplies as needed.
• Attend team meetings and rehab training programs as directed by supervisor.
• Support and participate in community-related programs.
