Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• BLS Certification within 90 days of hire required.
• Preferred: previous healthcare setting experience.
• Preferred: working knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Follows standard precautions and infection control policies.
• Operates and cleans equipment safely and maintains cleaning logs.
• Maintains monthly equipment maintenance and logs.
• Ensures EOC meets JCAHO standards.
• Assists therapists and patients under supervision and anticipates needs.
• Communicates patient changes promptly to the therapist.
• Explains procedures to patients and families and answers questions.
• Coordinates with other departments for interdisciplinary care.
• Documents treatment accurately and timely.
• Greets patients, confirms identity, and provides visit information.
• Handles scheduling, confirmations, and rescheduling of visits.
• Identifies patient records accurately and updates demographics/insurance.
• Posts payments and manages
