Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Director-level physical therapy rehabilitation supervisor to lead the delivery of rehabilitation procedures within the Acute Therapy Departments. The role emphasizes coordination of personnel, adherence to medical center standards, and compliance with state and federal regulations.

Under the supervision of the Medical Director and the Department Manager, the incumbent will oversee licensing requirements and ensure high-quality patient care, with preference for advanced degrees

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Physical Therapy is required.
• Must be licensed as OT, SLP, or PT in the state.
• CPR certification required.
• Master's or Doctorate degree preferred.
• Three years of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs, coordinates and supervises rehabilitation procedures in the Acute Therapy Departments.
• Ensures compliance with Medical Center standards and state/federal regulations.
• Under supervision of the Medical Director and the Department Manager, provides services in accordance with standards.
