Bethesda Health Group is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for Rehab Nursing on a part-time schedule at Barnes Jewish Extended Care in Clayton, MO. The RN will assess residents, document care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.

Responsibilities include medication administration, IV therapy, and timely communication of changes using SBARR. The role emphasizes patient safety, adherence to policies, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state you will be working
• Accredited nursing program graduate
• CPR/AED cert required or within 6 months
• Long-term care experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift and transfer patients 200+ lbs
• Ability to push/pull equipment >40 lbs
• Dexterity for nursing tasks and documentation
• Knowledge of care planning and SBARR use

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' health on admission and ongoing.
• Communicate significant changes to the IDT.
• Develop and update interdisciplinary care plans.
• Document care plans at admission and updates.
• Identify nursing interventions per care plan.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV fluids safely.
• Use SBARR to notify physicians promptly.
• Monitor care plan delivery and adjust as needed.
• Contribute to QAPI processes for problem resolution.
• Support residents with ADLs and respond to call lights.
• Complete minimum 12 hours of nursing offerings.
• Stay current with Bethesda policies and self-study.
• May be assigned other appropriate duties.
