Job summary

Bethesda Health Group is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join Barnes Jewish Extended Care on a full-time schedule from 6:30am to 7:00pm. You will provide basic nursing care, perform resident assessments, document plans, and collaborate with the IDT to ensure safe, timely interventions.

Responsibilities include administering medications and IV care if IV certified, supporting care planning, and guiding residents and families.

Qualifications

• Education from an accredited nursing program resulting in Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Current LPN license for the state you will be working in.
• IV Certification and CPR/AED Certification required or willing to obtain within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care and assess residents on admission and ongoing basis.
• Document assessments accurately and communicate changes to the IDT.
• Administer medications and treatments safely; IV fluids if IV certified; update care plans.
