Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Peoria, AZ, seeks a Registered Nurse for night shifts (6:00 PM–6:30 AM) to ensure high-quality resident care in an acute rehabilitation setting. You will develop and implement care plans, collaborate with physicians and therapists, and document medications and patient status.

The role requires an AZ RN license, ACLS/BLS as noted, and at least 1 year of hospital experience with proficiency in electronic charting. Flexibility and adherence to safety standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Arizona.
• Prior experience as an RN in an acute rehabilitation hospital.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Minimum 1 year hospital experience.
• Efficient in electronic charting systems.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Current TB test within the last year.
• Physical within 6 months.
• Fingerprint Clearance (current).

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse include but are not limited to:

• Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
• Develop and ensure the nursing care plan and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants
• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care
• Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team
• Records the administration of medication
• Monitor assigned staff to ensure established safety regulations are followed and that all tasks are performed following all state and government regulations and safety procedures as outlined by the facility
• Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies
• Performs other duties as directed

Qualifications of the Registered Nurse include:

• An active RN license in the state of Arizona.
• Prior experience as an RN in a acute rehabilatation hospital.
• The desire to care for patients in an acute care setting and act with integrity.
• The ability to work flexible hours.
• Must have 1 year hospital experience.
• Must be efficent in electronical charting system.
• BLS(required)/ACLS (preferred)
• Current TB with in a year
• Physical within 6 months
• Finger Print Card clearance (current)
