Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shifts in an acute rehabilitation setting in Peoria, AZ. You will ensure high-quality resident care, develop care plans with the care team, and perform nursing diagnoses to guide treatment.

The role requires an active Arizona RN license, at least 1 year hospital experience, and the ability to work flexible hours. BLS is required, ACLS preferred, with current TB, physical, and fingerprint clearance.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Arizona
• Experience as RN in an acute rehabilitation hospital
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Minimum 1 year hospital experience
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
• Current TB test within 12 months
• Physical examination within 6 months
• Finger Print Card clearance (current)
• Efficient in electronic charting system

Responsibilities

• Ensure resident care is maintained in a clean, safe environment
• Develop and implement nursing care plans in collaboration with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants
• Conduct nursing diagnoses to base care strategy
• Collaborate with residents and the healthcare team
• Record administration of medications accurately
• Monitor staff to ensure safety regulations and state guidelines are followed
• Use nursing equipment and supplies according to procedures
• Perform additional duties as directed

Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse include but are not limited to:

• Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
• Develop and ensure the nursing care plan and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants
• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care
• Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team
• Records the administration of medication
• Monitor assigned staff to ensure established safety regulations are followed and that all tasks are performed following all state and government regulations and safety procedures as outlined by the facility
• Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies
• Performs other duties as directed

Qualifications of the Registered Nurse include:

• An active RN license in the state of Arizona.
• Prior experience as an RN in a acute rehabilatation hospital.
• The desire to care for patients in an acute care setting and act with integrity.
• The ability to work flexible hours.
• Must have 1 year hospital experience.
• Must be efficent in electronical charting system.
• BLS(required)/ACLS (preferred)
• Current TB with in a year
• Physical within 6 months
• Finger Print Card clearance (current)
